The 8 Commandments Of Horrocks Farm Market
If you're from the Lansing area, or even down in South West Michigan, you know what Horrocks is...
Horrocks Farm Market is an amazing place to grab a ton of different items. You can drink beer while you shop, and shop for things you won't find at your local continence store.
But, what that being said. Horrocks has A LOT of foot traffic. So we need to talk about some things...
1.) Thou Shall Slow Down
The parking lot is not the highway or a speedway, so when entering the parking lot and driving through it, ensure you are going the speed limit.
2.) Thou Shalt Not Abandoned Ye Cart
Have you ever been to a grocery store before? I get it, you finished wadding through the crowds in the store and ready to go home. However, maybe don't abandoned your cart at the front door.
3.) Thou Shalt Not Stop In The Middle Of The Aisle
While I know for a fact I have done this myself, the aisles are small, and shouldn't become bumper to bumper cart traffic. If you can leave your cart and walk down a crowded aisle, do so.
4.) Thou Shall Come Hungry To Horrocks
If you're going to Horrocks, you're fully aware of the salad and soup bar that they have. This is the one store you can definitely go to hungry at.

5.) Thou Shall Have A Beer While Shopping
If you're not from here, it's okay to not get it, however, if you are then no explanation needed. You can try a variety of different beers both local and national here at Horrocks.
6.) Thou Shall Get Their Delicious Ice Cream
Moo-Ville is a locally owned ice cream company based in Nashville, Michigan. Those going to Horrocks, have to try the local ice cream sold here.
7.) Thou Shall Expect Snow Mounds
This one is seasonal, however, if you're headed in the winter months, even late spring, expect to lose a couple of parking spots to the snow.
8.) Thou Shall Enjoy The Pickled Items
Listen, I know this might sound weird, however, I have tried a lot of their pickled items and they are very tasty. Buy something you've never tried the next time you go.
