Your Next Job: DNR Officer — State Taking Applications Now

I was unaware that DNR Conservation officers are certified law enforcement officers with the full authority to enforce Michigan laws.

The DNR is taking applications for recruits.  Academy begins in July 2017 and if you're interested in the outdoors, this might be the new career for you.

WLNS-TV says training totals 42 weeks; 20 at academy and 22 in-field with an experience conservation officer.  Then, new officers will be assigned to one of Michigan's 83 counties.
