I know we just had some crazy snow to rain weather but tonight its going to be a little windy, with advisory for our area.

A storm system moving through the northern Great Lakes will bring strong winds to all of lower Michigan tonight. Weather outlets are reporting that sustained winds near 35 MPH are expected with wind gusts at times around 50 MPH through midnight. The wind should start to diminish late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

The strong winds will be able to cause some power outages as well as potentially some downed trees and power lines. The strong winds may make travel difficult tonight so be careful or be driving around tonight. Also make sure to secure things like garbage cans and other light objects outside your home.
