Who Knew That Tuesday Was National Dessert Day?

This Tuesday, October 14th is National Dessert Day!

National Dessert Day may have just become my new favorite day of the year! Not that I need a reason to enjoy a bowl of Chunky Monkey...or to order the fried Oreos at Mongo...OR to get a Nutella latte with extra whipped cream, but having a "Day" dedicated to all things sweet helps me to feel less gluttonous about taking down a whole sleeve of Girl Scout cookies.

Also, this year's National Dessert Day happens to be the SAME.EXACT.DAY. as the 2014 Pink Dessert Wars! Sometimes the stars align, the fates get together, and things fall just as they should.

To celebrate this most epic Day of Days, you should come out to our first ever Battle of the Batter; The 2014 Pink Dessert Wars. It's all going down Tuesday, October 14th from 6-9 p.m. at the University Club of MSU. All kinds of area bakeries, restaurants, and caterers are coming out to show their sweet skills!
