This weekend be on the lookout for some rain, mostly on Saturday, but also check out some great festivals full of music, parades, and food!

Over in St. John's (at the Clinton County Fairgrounds) its the Mint Festival. Each year the mint farming heritage is celebrated with arts and crafts, flea market, food concessions, parade, four sports tournaments, carnival and tons of activities for kids. Its running from Friday-Sunday, MORE HERE. 

On Saturday (August 12th at 9AM) its the 2017 BWL Hometown Power 5K, its also a Fundraiser for Pennies for Power. But the race will start at BWL REO Town Headquarters 1232 Haco Drive. Course will run through city streets in neighborhoods around REO Town building. There will also be a kids run as well after the 5K, more on it here.

The MSU Museum presents this three-day celebration of culture, tradition and community, its the Great Lakes Folk Festival. You can check out new music, dance, food and more with the roots, the rhythms and the richness of cultures across America and around the world. It's happening Friday-Sunday at the MSU Museum on Albert St. in East Lansing. More Here. 

Meanwhile, at the Lansing Mall its the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, happening Saturday and Sunday. You can still register your team to play and win some prizes. To enter your team, go here.
