What Happened to Speedway At Jolly and Dunckel?

UPDATE! The masses tell me a new Speedway Cafe and Truck Stop is coming soon.  Anticipated opening is 4-5 months from now.  #StayStrong

It's gone!  The Speedway gas station at Jolly and Dunckel is GONE!

But...but...but...

What happened?!  You can't tell me that Speedway wasn't doing good business.  They were frequently packed!

You just gonna give up?  Let QD have all that traffic?!  I don't understand.

But it seems real.

The signs came down and it's all fenced off.

I didn't even get to say "goodbye..."

Anybody know what's up?!
