This is a weird story coming out of the Detroit-area in the neighborhood of Fraser as a large 250 feet long and 100 feet wide sinkhole has appeared causing people to evacuate.

Officials say that the sinkhole that formed on Saturday and to combat the problem they have crews pumping sewage into a Detroit-area river. The sinkhole has made several people evacuate from their homes and ruin roads in the area.

Mayor Joseph Nichols, who declared a state of emergency, told residents the goal is to get answers. Officials have said they would like to get families back in their homes within 2-3 weeks but 3 homes are in dangerous conditions.
