UPDATE: Authorities found the single victim of a grain facility collapse overnight.  The victim has been identified as 22 year old Joshua McGhee of Petersburg, Michigan.  The investigation into what caused the 1pm Wednesday collapse is ongoing.

An ADM grain storage structure in Webberville collapsed this afternoon and one person is missing.  The company released this statement:

“This afternoon, a grain-storage structure at our Webberville grain facility failed.  When the incident occurred, ADM employees immediately contacted the Webberville Fire Department.  A contractor who was working near the facility has not been accounted for. We’re working with rescue crews who are searching for the individual.”

WLNS-TV says Ingham County Homeland Security & Emergency Management spokesperson Rob Dale says the incident occurred around 1pm at the Archer Daniels Midland facility.

Archer Daniels Midland is an agricultural services company and produces food ingredients, animal feeds and feed ingredients, biofuels and other products.
