Harry Shearer, voice actor for the longest running television show in American history, "The Simpsons" is leaving the cast unless something can be worked out between him and the producers that allows him to continue to pursue other projects. I totally understand this. After 26 years of doing the same thing over and over again, you can't blame the guy for wanting to do something else. Shearer took to Twitter to talk about the ongoing negotiations (or lack thereof)

So what should the show do? I think that it's pretty simple. Be done. It's time to be done. I've heard some positive things about the most recent season. But for the most part, you're talking about the last 7 years being absolutely horrible. It's one of the most iconic pieces of American pop culture and to lose such major characters as Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner and Ned Flanders, just to name a few, is a bad idea. Especially to think if that they were going to hire a replacement actor to do them. Ugh. What do YOU think?
