Jackson County Circuit Judge John McBain is seen jumping into a courtroom scuffle when a man accused of stalking puts up a fight with the court officer ordered by McBain to take the man into custody.

The man, who MLive identifies as Jacob Larson, failed to comply with a personal protection order issued by the judge just months prior.  So the judge ordered him to three days in the county jail.  Then 45.  Then 93.  Then a year, if he failed to comply.

Larson just kept dismissing Judge McBain's instructions and kept talking, and then...

By the end of the scuffle, McBain settled on 93 days in the county jail.  Unfortunately, it seems that wasn't enough, as Larson again violated the personal protection order and is now facing up to five years in prison.  He has a court date set for December.
