Veterans Day Freebies & Discounts

It's Veterans Day 2015, and each year, several area businesses honor vets with special discounts and even free items or services.  WLNS-TV says the following deals are being offered:

Need a hair cut?  Great Clips has free haircuts for all veterans.  Don't need a hair cut?  Vets can pick up a coupon for a free haircut between now and December 31st.

The brand new (100 years in the making) Lansing Brewing Company will offer vets its "Liberator Burger" for 99 cents.

Lansing Car Wash will wash vets cars for free.

As it has done in years past, Texas Roadhouse will offer free lunch to vets and active military members, from 11am to 2pm.

Tim Horton's has a free donut for all vets, a gift the chain has offered to vets for seven years.

Other places that have announced deals for vets include Applebee's, Carrabba's, Chili's, Golden Corral, IHOP, Little Caesar's, LongHorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster and Starbucks, but you'll want to call ahead to make sure the location near you is participating and what the offer is.
