If you have an Apple Product like an iPhone or iPad, you may want to update the operating system now to fend it off of hackers.

Experts are urging Apple users to manually upgrade, after Apple issued a new security patch to stop hackers from being able to take over your device with a single image.

According to Apple, One photo, sent email, or even a text message could hack your device as all the hacker needs is your phone number.

You could be at risk if your device is earlier than 9.3.3 on iOS or earlier than 10.11.6 for OS Ten (X).  Update your iOS, go to settings, general, software update. Tap "download" and "install." To update your desktop computer or laptop operating system, click on the Apple menu and select "Software Update."
