Thousands Without Power, Lansing Catholic Delays Start of School Day

After a storm rolled through overnight, close to 50,000 Lansing-area residents lost power.  Lansing Board of Water & Light is working to restore energy to customers, but thousands are still waking up in the dark.

Due to the power outage, Lansing Catholic High School has announced that it will delay the start of the school day until 10am.

Police officers have been posted at many intersections where lights have been effected, but if you come upon an intersection where the light isn't working and an officer is not directing traffic, as always, treat that intersection as a 4-way stop.
