The Unrated “Fifty Shades of Grey” DVD Will Pack Some Surprises
You've read the books; you've seen the movie; now prepare yourself for the DVD release...of the UNRATED "Fifty Shades of Grey". Maybe it's just me, but it feels like "Fifty Shades" hit theaters like a few weeks ago...oh wait...it did. Well, regardless, the DVD (and Blu Ray) is set to come out in just about six weeks and if you're a fan of the series, you have quite a bit to look forward to.
According to IGN, you can expect more with the Blu Ray version. It will include features such as the theatrical and unrated versions, in-depth profiles of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan AND their sultry alteregos Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, music videos of some of the songs featured on the soundtrack, and many more! Both formats will also include an alternate ending, which many are speculating about. I won't give any spoilers away as to what happens in the theatrical version versus what some think the alternate ending might be, but I will say that the theatrical version differs from the book a little. So maybe they intend to make it more alike? I guess we'll have to wait and see!
If you're counting down the days until you can add "Fifty Shades of Grey" to your movie collection, here are the days you need to mark on your calendar: The Digital HD version for download will be available on May 1st and you can expect the DVD and Blu Ray on May 8th. Until then, check out this preview and behind-the-scenes-look with the stars of the movie!
