The snow is hopefully done for the next few months and there was a lot of snow this winter but who go the most snow in all of Michigan? Obviously I'm sure your guess is something in Northern Michigan or the U.P and you would be right as the top 10 are all from Northern or U.P. What was really surprising, but I guess not to anyone from the U.P, is that Houghton had over 300 inches of snow for the first time in a while. That's over 25 feet of snow!

Here are the Top Ten Cities in Michigan that got the most snow this winter.

  1. Houghton - 312"
  2. Munising - 213"
  3. Marquette - 175"
  4. Ironwood - 172"
  5. Mancelona - 171"
  6. Maple City - 171"
  7. Gaylord - 166"
  8. Petoskey - 142"
  9. Sault Ste. Marie - 138"
  10. Traverse City - 123"

Meanwhile down in our area, Lansing had a total of 53 inches of snow while Jackson had 60 inches of snow this winter.
