The Jackson County Airport Getting Makeover

The Jackson County Airport is getting a make over, with a $40 million project to update the Airport which is scheduled to wrap up next summer. The project, which includes a new 5,350-foot runway is the same as the old one but more up to date.

The work will require the airport to be temporarily shut down next summer as final connections are made to the new runway.
