The Best Michigan Small Town Festivals Coming Up

With summer like weather this week, you may be thinking about planning for your summer but don't overlook these small town that like to party!

First here are some that coming up this month or next. Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival (Shepherd, April 27-30) & National Morel Mushroom Festival (Boyne City, May 18-21)

JUNE

Lilac Festival (Mackinac Island, June 9-18)

Wizard of Oz Festival (Ionia, June 17-18) The name says it all.

National Asparagus Festival (Oceana County, second weekend in June)

Bay-Rama Fish Fly Festival (New Baltimore, June 21-25) which is named for the hordes of fish flies that show up in the region every summer. They also have cranival rides!

JULY 

American Polish Festival (Sterling Heights, July 7-9) pierogi eating challenge and Beer!

Imlay City Blueberry Festival (Imlay City, July 21-22) Everything is blueberry! Of course.
