Surfer Fends Off Shark During Televised Competition [VIDEO]

Mick Fanning is an experienced, multiple award winning surfer.  He was competing off the coast of South Africa on Sunday when he was suddenly attacked by a shark.  The whole encounter, which he survived unscathed, was caught on tape.

Rescue workers sprung into action immediately.  The competition was cancelled following the incident.  Watch the video now!
