If you have a Toyota or Subaru you will want to check out this recall as it affects over 1 million cars from both companies. The first recall is according to Newsweek, the recall affects both Subaru and Toyota but Subaru has more cars that are being recalled. Toyota accounts for 80,000 of the some 400,000-plus recalled vehicles. Some of the affected models from Subaru include the Forester SUV, Impreza and BRZ sports car, and the Subaru-made Toyota 86 and Scion FR-S.

According to the report, the issue concerns the risk that valve springs in the engine could break, this could cause the vehicles to stall and increase the risk of a crash. Subaru expects the repairs to take more than 12 hours

The second recall is massive as Toyota is recalling just over 1-million vehicles worldwide because the airbags could either inflate without a crash or fail to deploy at all. The recall covers about 17,000 Scion xA vehicles in the U.S. from 2004 to 2006. There is no report on it but you will be notified if you vehicle is under the recall by December.
