A fuel pipeline in Wisconsin shutdown and an unplanned outage at the Marathon refinery in Detroit means the potential for fuel shortages exists as we head into the holiday weekend.

Governor Snyder declared a State of Emergency in Michigan, which will allow fuel truck drivers to spend more hours on the road to make sure gas gets to stations, WJRT-TV reports.

Meanwhile, I'm glad I got gas for $2.54 this morning, because we could very well see the price increase over the next several days.
