If you live in southern Ingham County right near the border of Jackson and Ingham county you may see a slight power interruption this weekend. According to MLive and Consumers Energy, nearly 3,500 customers will be without power on Saturday, Nov. 3, due to scheduled service work. The outage will happen from 6am to Noon so you might want to sleep in or grab a book in bed cause you may not have power for a bit.

The reason for the outage is because crews are working on and also upgrading electric lines. The substation they are working on provides power to northeast Jackson County and southeast Ingham County. Usually Consumers Energy does work like this but this power outage is going to be a big one so don't be alarmed if you wake up Saturday morning without power.
