In Florida on Saturday, an experienced skydiver is making his approach at the very moment an experienced pilot is making his approach.  The pilot makes a last second attempt to pull the plane up which most certainly spares the skydiver's life, but despite the pilot's effort, the two meet 75 feet above the ground.

One of the wings of the Cessna catches the lines of the skydiver's parachute.  The skydiver is hurled toward the back side of the plane.  The plane nose-dives into the ground.

Both the pilot and skydiver, though hospitalized initially, survive with only bruises.  No broken bones, no internal injuries.

It just so happens that a photographer was at the airfield that day and caught the whole thing  in a breathtaking series of must-see photographs.
