Several local news outlets are reporting shots fired early Saturday morning in downtown East Lansing.

The timeline is around 3:30 am. And the vicinity is Charles and Albert Streets.

A suspect is believed to have fired several shots in the area and then left in a vehicle.

No description of the suspect nor the vehicle was available at  the time reports were taken. According to police and media reports, no one was injured during the shooting.

This is a breaking story and is still under investigation.
