Chick-Fil-A will be opening a new restaurant location at 5617 West Saginaw Highway on Tuesday with a large expansion planned for the rest of the state in the coming years.

Chick-fil-A plans to announce a full "Michigan expansion" at the April 19 groundbreaking of its first non-food court location in Lansing. They are looking to add 4-5 new restaurants a year in the state with a goal by 2021 of having 20 locations in state.

Currently Chick-fil-A has two location on the Oakland University campus and at Detroit Metro Airport but both are food court options. You can check out what else Chick-Fil-A said about the restaurant and their expansion in the state from MLive.com here
