Areas near Frandor and in Frandor will expand as the Red Cedar Renassiance Project maybe coming back and be developed soon. The developers for the Red Cedar Renassiance Project will present their proposal to the Lansing City Council on Monday and hope that they can start building this year.

The plan calls for housing, retail shops, restaurants, two hotels and a park at the old Red Cedar Golf Course on Michigan Avenue across from Frandor. The developer is asking the city for $10.7 million dollars to help finance the project. The city will need to vote and approve it. More here.
