Reading Rainbow Kickstarter Hits $1M in First Day, Levar Burton Reacts [VIDEO]

I, like the rest of the nation, am "over the moon" about the return of Reading Rainbow.  Levar Burton launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund getting Reading Rainbow to every child everywhere, by creating an online Reading Rainbow and putting special classroom versions into 1,500 classrooms for free.  The goal of $1 million dollars was reached within 12 hours.  See Levar Burton's real time reaction here!

Donations continued to climb past $1.6 million and now a new goal of $2 million has been set. I'll update you in a few minutes when that goal gets realized.
