A line of strong storms held together while crossing Lake Michigan and is pushing through West Michigan right now.

WLNS Meteorologist Emily Wahls sent a tweet indicating the storms are producing heavy rain, gusty wind and lightning.

Today's forecast calls for a chance of storms later in the day, but if this system keeps moving at the same speed, we might be dealing with it before lunch.

It's probably a good time to start thinking about severe weather preparedness again.  Tomorrow is the first day of autumn!
