Portland's Shelby Miller got the golden ticket to Hollywood and she made it through group rounds but this week announced that her American Idol journey had ended.

Maybe.

An Idol spokesperson says that there are still "twists and turns" the show could take, so it's unclear if these twists and turns could present an opportunity for Miller to return to the show to compete.

Here is the official announcement from Shelby, posted on her Facebook page:

I would first like to thank everyone for all of your wonderful love and support. We had to wait for the West Coast to air last nights episode before I could say anything, but do not want to keep you in suspense any longer. My Idol Journey did come to an end last night, but this is only the very beginning of many more things to come. I remember telling my mom on the day of registration that if I didn't make it past the first audition, the experience in itself was worth it. I am so blessed to have been able to share in this amazing experience into the last day of Hollywood Week. I know that God has a plan and that it is all in His hands. Again thank you so much and God Bless:)
