Bundle up tonight and all this weekend as the Polar Vortex is here and bringing in windy and cold temps all weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued wind chill advisories from 10 p.m. Friday night to 11 a.m. Saturday morning for the Thumb region, Friday and Saturday for Northeast Michigan and the tip of the Lower Peninsula, and for all day Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday in the far western part of the Upper Peninsula.

In the middle of the Mitten, Lansing will feel like -10 and Jackson -11.Ann Arbor - 11, Detroit - 9, the Weather Service says..

Sunday isn't expected to be quite as cold, with temperatures in some spots reaching into the teens. By Monday, the bitter cold will be over, as temperatures are expected to climb in the Lower Peninsula into the low 30s, the Weather Service reports.

So if you have a Valentine this weekend your best option might be sitting next to fireplace, or a heater
