Plane Carrying 166 People Makes Emergency Landing In Lansing

WILX reports that an Allegiant Air jet carrying 166 people made an emergency landing at Capital Region International Airport shortly after taking off at 11:39am this morning.  The jet, an MD-80 bound for Orlando, Florida, sounded a "compression alert" alarm, forcing pilots to turn around.

Passengers are waiting in the terminal while mechanics inspect the plane.  The flight is listed as delayed by 3 hours.
