Over the weekend, Pete Davidson posted an alarming message on Instagram before deleting his account all together, suggesting he was suicidal.

"i really don't want to be on this earth anymore," the harrowing message read. "i'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last. all i've ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so."

Thankfully the comedian, who was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in 2016, showed up to Saturday Night Live rehearsals and did appear in the December 15 Christmas episode, though briefly.

Since posting the cry for help, a number of celebrities and friends have publicly sent the troubled 25-year-old well wishes. His ex, Ariana Grande, even rushed to NBC — where SNL tapes — to be there for Davidson, although reports have stated he explicitly told security to meet her in the lobby and refuse to let her up, so he wouldn't have to see her.

Lorne Michaels, is also doing what he can to ensure Davidson's safety. As Page Six reports, the longtime SNL executive producer cut the cast member's sketches and is devoted to get him help.

“Lorne has pledged to help all he can, including sending Pete to get help," a source said. "Everyone on the cast is hugely protective of him and were obviously upset — particularly Colin Jost and Michael Che on ‘Weekend Update.’”

Davidson is expected to be on the show's roster in 2019, after its holiday hiatus. According to the source, there has been no talk of him taking time off.
