Parking Lot Fire During Tigers Game Means Double Loss for Some Local Fans

Chris from Chelsea, along with her son, Mike from Flushing, along with his two boys and wife, and Mike from Lowell are among Tigers fans whose vehicles were destroyed or damaged when a fire sparked in a downtown Detroit parking lot during the Tigers game against the Orioles.

The Tigers lost 9-3.

Fans saw the black smoke from the stands but the victims say they didn't suspect that they would have returned to their vehicles to find this, according to a story in the Detroit Free Press.

Thank God there were no injuries.  The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
