If you believe the rumors, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are archenemies and competing against each other. But at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday night (May 7), there seemed to be no bad blood between the two as they shared a moment and had a quick chat.

Photos from the event show Cardi and Minaj inside talking, while Moschino designer Jeremy Scott looked on. In one photo, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper can be seen with her hand on her chest, while another picture shows the "Chun-Li" artist reaching for Cardi's side.

While the two have never explicitly dissed each other on tracks, tensions hit a high in April following the release of the collaboration "MotorSport." During an interview with Beats 1 Radio's Zane Lowe, Nicki opened up about her feelings toward any perceived feud and said that not until recently did Cardi show her love.

"I have never seen her show me any genuine love during an interview," the "Barbie Tingz" rapper said. "I just see how many girls wish they had been on a song with Nicki Minaj."

Nicki also wasn't happy about how the "Be Careful" rapper handled the collaboration—which was originally a joint song between Minaj and Quavo.

"The only thing with Cardi that really, really, really hurt me was the first interview [Cardi B] did after the first interview she did after 'MotorSport' came out, it just really hurt me," Minaj said. "'Cause she looked so aggravated and angry and the only thing she kept saying was, 'Oh, I didn't hear that verse, I didn't hear that verse. She changed her verse.'"

While some may like to believe there is a feud between the two, Minaj has shown love to Cardi in the past. In September, Nicki congratulated the "Be Careful" rapper on Twitter after "Bodak Yellow" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Cardi has also shot down any ideas of a beef with Nicki, calling the feud "internet made-up" and saying she doesn't have time for it.
