To be clear, the study doesn't challenge the idea of climate change.  But, it does devastate one theory about how to fix it.

"This pulls the rug out from under over a decade’s worth of public policy in this area," University of Michigan Energy Institute research professor John DeCicco told the Detroit Free Press.

At issue is whether biofuels are better for the environment than traditional gasoline.  This study says not only are biofuels not better, they are actually worse.

Not everyone is buying it though, particularly members of the farming community.
