New Petition Looking to Repeal Fireworks Law

Are you annoyed with fireworks? Do you not like the loud shots in the middle of the night? Cause a new petition is for you

A new petition online aims to repeal Michigan's Fireworks Safety Law which has increased state revenue. The petition was made by residents, statewide, that are fed up or annoyed with the airborne fireworks disrupting them or their pets.

A petition on moveon.org, has been made to repeal the 2011 law. The petition now has more than 29,000 signatures. 30,000 signatures are needed before the petition can be presented to state lawmakers for action. Fireworks are legal the day before, day of, and day after a federal holiday.
