Michigan is having a new law for bicycles and cars so watch out when your are driving or riding your bicycle. According to WLNS, Michigan drivers will have to allow at least 3 feet of clearance or a "safe distance" while passing a bicyclist on the road. The bill was signed in by Governor Snyder on Friday and the laws take effect in 90 days.

Along with this law there is also a measure for teen drivers to learn about the laws of cyclists. This law will now put Michigan in line with other states that have the same laws.
