New Costco is Under Construction For Fall Opening

You have been hearing it for a while and Construction is underway at the Costco site in East Lansing. The construction is expected to continue through the summer and the new Costco is expected to open in the fall of 2017.

The retail warehouse will occupy 26 acres at 5800 Park Lake Road on the site of the former Four Winds Golf Course. The massive 150,000 plus square foot warehouse will have a tire center along with 24 gas pumps. The gas pumps are to be built on the corner of Park Lake Rd and Saginaw Street. The Costco is also expected to hire about 150 people when it finally opens.

Motorists can expect isolated lane closures in the area through September, here's more about the construction from the Lansing State Journal.
