Four MSU students in France when Paris was attacked on Friday, along with one faculty member, have been confirmed to be safe, the Lansing State Journal reports.

Numerous coordinated terrorist attacks throughout Paris on Friday claimed the lives of 127 people -- that number is expected to climb.

ISIS has claimed responsibility.

Thirteen University of Michigan students and five faculty members are also in Paris.  9 of the 18 had been confirmed safe as of Friday night at 7:30pm, according to WLNS-TV.
