More New Buildings Coming to Downtown East Lansing

Expect to see some more new construction coming to Grand River Ave with new apartments and hotels coming to East Lansing in the coming years. According to Lansing State Journal, downtown East Lansing is one step closer to redevelopment as there is a proposal for several new apartments, commercial, and hotel buildings to come to town.

On Tuesday night, the East Lansing City Council approved a site plan for the $105 million Park District project. The proposal includes an 11 story mix-used apartment building and a 10 story hotel on Grand River Ave, between Abbott Rd and The People's Church. Along with these two buildings on Grand River there is also going to be a four story apartment complex on Evergreen Ave.
