Well we are officially in the swing of Christmas and that means that you will see Christmas events, parades, ect for the rest of the month. Here are some of the events this weekend to check out in Mid-Michigan to get you into the spirit.

First, this is happening at the Potter Park  Zoo all month, its the Wonderland of Lights on Thu.–Sun. 5–8 p.m. only. The Wonderland of Lights is when the Potter Park Zoo is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with thousands of holiday lights and extraordinary visual displays. Plus Kids activities, entertainment and you can see all of the animals, more here.

Next, in Grand Ledge its their 46th Annual Night Lights Christmas Parade on Friday, December 1 at 7:00 PM hosted by the Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce. This spectacular night time parade will be packed full of lots of lights and music, more here

Also on Saturday morning in Old Town its 9th annual Scrooge Scramble 5K Run/Walk on the Lansing River Trail to benefit Dickens Village. Registration is still open, more here

If you head to East Lansing, Saturday afternoon you can catch Winter Glow. It's a winter-inspired activities in downtown East Lansing from 2-5 p.m., including carriage rides, roasted marshmallows, pictures with Santa, a special outdoor holiday farmers market, ice-carving demonstrations, live music, children's activities and much more.

Finally, for the crafts person in your life at the MSU Union Sat. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sun. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m, its their Arts & Craft Holiday Show. Its one of the largest in the state and their will be tons of vendors and things to see, more here
