Missing Mid-Michigan Teen Was Victim of Serious Crime Months Ago [VIDEO]

Cheyanne Knapp, 14, was last seen at Union City Middle School on Wednesday.  She apparently never got on the bus to go home, her phone is off and her mom, who hasn't heard from her, said this is just not like her.

She also says that Cheyanne was the victim of a serious crime last summer.

A report on WWMT-TV indicates authorities executed an arrest warrant on a man connected to that crime but after a thorough search determined that he is not a suspect in her disappearance.

The report also says an Amber Alert has not been issued because authorities do not believe she is in danger.

Cheyanne is 5'2 and 110 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink hoodie and jeans.
