Missing In Mason: Lily Escapes While Owner, Here from England, Visits Grandma In Hospital

Lily is a black and white lab/border collie mix and she's on the loose.  Anna, who has just returned to mid-Michigan with her husband, Barry, after 15 years in the UK, was visiting her grandmother in an Ann Arbor hospital when Lily managed to escape from their home on Josephine Lane in Mason on Friday morning.

Anna's sister, Jennifer, says Lily is "like family...like their child" and the family is devastated.

Lily was wearing a black braided leather collar and may run when approached, as she's unfamiliar with her brand new surroundings, but is very nice and well trained, Jennifer says.

Local authorities and veterinarians have been notified and the family is asking anyone with information to call Barry at [phone number removed] or Anna at [phone number removed].
