Midweek Winter Storm Shifts North So We Can Expect Warmer Temps and Rain
There was a collective groan throughout mid-Michigan on Monday when weather agencies began forecasting a winter storm that could dump more than 8 inches on us in the first week of spring.
Good news!
The Winter Storm Watch for mid-Michigan counties has been cancelled as new forecast models show the colder, snowy part of the storm impacting northern lower Michigan, while we can expect mainly rain, according to WOOD-TV Meteorologist Bill Steffen.
The Weather Channel now predicts daytime high temperatures in the mid-40s.
And now, a collective sigh across mid-Michigan. As for Traverse City... heh...
