The NCAA is now stepping in after the Larry Nassar trial brought up a lot, and now the NCAA are going to look into the Michigan State Athletic Dept.

The Larry Nassar trial is finishing up today with his sentencing, which he will get 40-175 years in prison, but this has opened the door for the NCAA to look more at Michigan State. According to the NCAA, they sent a letter to Michigan State AD, where they said the heinous crimes by Nassar has triggered them to look at Michigan State's athletic practices. Also they say the trial, "...has raised serious concerns about institutional practices, student athlete safety and the institution's actions to protect individuals from his behavior."

Michigan State AD Mark Hollis, has responded to the letter and said that MSU will cooperate with the investigation. He also says that Michigan State has cared about the student athlete first. To read more about what he says you can see it here.
