This will make you happy this weekend, especially if you are traveling around Michigan. But during the Labor Day week, the Michigan Department of Transportation is removing traffic restrictions on 77 of 110 active roadwork projects statewide.

You will be seeing construction done on Thursday and most of Friday as MDOT will suspend construction from 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. Even though you might see construction you will see equipment and some congestion as some lane changes may be in effect.
