The Cleveland man sought by police after he killed a man seemingly at random and posted the video to Facebook is dead.  Pennsylvania State Police say Steve Stephens took his own life after he led police on a short chase in Erie County this morning.

Michigan was one of five states placed on alert by authorities shortly after the murder over concerns that Stephens may flee.

Late on Sunday, Stephens' phone was pinged near the Ohio and Pennsylvania border.  On Sunday afternoon, Stephens posted a graphic video to Facebook showing him shooting 74 year old, Robert Godwin, on a Cleveland street.

CNN says Godwin was a self-taught mechanic and grandfather of 14.
