If you are a big fan of fishing, make sure to fish for some walleyes this spring and summer cause you could make some money and also help the Michigan DNR. According to Mlive.com, the Michigan DNR has tagged and released about 3000 walleye with bright orange tags, in the tributaries around Saginaw Bay. About 20% of those have a tag worth $100 if you catch it, take a clear photo of it and send it to the DNR at michigan.gov/taggedfish.

Reporting the catch helps the DNR track and also see how many fish are being harvested or surviving this season. You can start fishing for them right now on Saginaw Bay and also start looking for them in rivers around here at the end of April. More Here.
