Patsy Lou Denies Payment On 2015 4th of July Fireworks Sponsorship
Three months after one of the major Corunna 4th of July Fireworks celebration sponsors reaped the reward of being connected to one of Shiawassee County's premier events of the year, the sponsor says they won't pay.
"It looks like this sponsorship was approved by someone who didn't have the authority to do so," Andrea Olson of Canadian American, a marketing firm in Flint, said in an email to festival organizers. This notice followed weeks of email exchanges between city officials and Olson, who is also listed as Marketing Coordinator of Patsy Lou Automotive Group on that company's website. Olson directed further questions to Patsy Lou CFO Wendy Davis.
Documents provided to CorunnaNOW.com by Corunna City Manager, Joe Sawyer, detail the history of the relationship between city officials and officials from the dealership.
