Main Street Becomes Parking Lot: Car Crashes Into Popular Pizza Place

Main Street Pizza in Corunna was open for the delivery Monday night after a frightening crash earlier in the day, according to Corunna Now.

Around lunchtime, an elderly woman driving a Chevy Impala experienced a health issue while making a turn from E Corunna Avenue onto Shiawassee Street. That's when she veered into the direction of the restaurant, smashing through the front window and resting fully inside. She was taken to the hospital but on Monday was said to be doing okay.

There were no injuries inside. One person was working at the time of the accident. She was in the back of the building, away from harm.Order up!
