Lansing Named 4th Most Affordable Place To Live In America

According to MLive, a site called Livability.com ranked Lansing as the 4th most affordable place to live in the country.

From my new experiences here, I can do nothing but agree. But I'm curious to see what longtime Lansing natives have to say about the ranking. As a young person living in this great city, I have a few costs and a tax to the city, but I really do feel as if I'm getting the most bang for my buck.

The site made this determination by taking in to account a few different factors. They took in to consideration cost of living, median household income and median home value. They also thought about but did not score cultural amenities and entertainment. Which, in all honesty, Lansing has plenty of. There are so many things to do here.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to pack up shop and move to mid Michigan and this just reaffirms that decision.
